The group's Bama Works Fund, established in 1999, has raised more than $65 million dollars for humanitarian and environmental initiatives.

Johnathan Dorfman has over 20 years of experience in film production and distribution. He studied at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Johnathan has overseen the production or distribution of all of the films in the catalogue, many of which have garnered major awards and nominations.
